I’ve been meaning to start this “Favourites” series for ages! Now I’ve finally brought it about for the month of January. In this series I will present to you my favourite book, music, products, recipes, blogs, travel destinations, etc…
Let me know in the comments if this is something you would like to see more often from now on! What categories are you most interested in? I can’t wait to read your feedback! 🙂
Here are a few categories I will cover in my monthly favourites:
Let’s begin with my January favourites!
My favourite product of the last 3 months is definitely this peanut flour by Koro. You can use it as a flour replacement or protein powder. It contains 50g protein and only 7g fat per 100g!! Still can’t believe how tasty it is. Check out this recipe for crepes or this baked oatmeal recipe, which both feature the peanut flour. With the code ‘FRUITFAIRY’ you can save 5% on your order at Koro.
I just published a whole list of book recommendations for this month. There will be a part 2 soon so check out these books in the meantime! One of 2018 resolutions is to read at least one book per week this year. So far, I have finished 5 so I’m slaying it! Btw, audiobooks count as well. Want to join me starting February?
All Ott albums. Listening to them non stop at the moment. They are perfect background music for yoga sessions, reading, cleaning your room or just relaxing together with friends.
I love Agata’s account. She combines tasty food with beautiful impressions of Amsterdam. Her style is unique and she’s a very kind person. Although she shared mainly impressions of Amsterdam, she’s also a very talented food photographer! I think she’s a fotography genius in general. She has an eye for beautiful things!
Definitely my favourite account of the month!
This one goes to The Little Plantation and her amazing food photography and Instagram tips! She has an entire category named “Instagram Help”. Everything you want to know about the algorithm and how to work with it – I love it! Kimberly, you are amazing!
“I’m not a fanatist, I am an optimistic realist.”
Definitely quote of the month.
You don’t necessarily have to leave your country to discover incredible cultural reminiscences. The coolest place I visited this month was definitely the monastery in Maulbronn. It was founded almost 1000 years ago with most parts of the buildings as old as 700 years. I recommend a guided tour to learn about the life circumstances of the people during the time the monastry was built. So fascinating! They survived all the years without any heating… And it’s usually colder inside the walls then outside. Imagine that!
Check out their website for more pictures and informaiton in English and German.
In the cover picture you see me wearing an outfit from Recolution. They produce 100% organic, vegan, fair & sustainable fashion. Yay! And the quality is seriously amazing!
And here’s a gift to you: A 15€ voucher for orders above 50€ with the code: ‘fruitfairy’ – one per customer!
Major tasks for February:
- Translate some blog posts into German (I just switched to a theme that allows my blog to be biligual! Yay!)
- Start using Pinterest for my blog posts
- Write blog posts for my travel destinations (I will be in Instanbul mid February and in Bali by the end of the month)
