Coconut Nicecream

I promise you will LOVE this one. Banana + coconut is one of those combinations that are too good to be true. And the best thing about it: It’s literally just 2 ingredients.

★  3 frozen bananas, chopped

★  a handful of fresh or dessicated coconut

Prepare the bananas the day before, or freeze them for at least 6 hours for optimal results. Combine the frozen bananas and coconut in a high speed blender or food processor and blend until they form a homogenous cream. Serve in a bowl or in an empty coconut shell.

 

 

 


 Lemon Raspberry Nicecream

Another one of my favourites is the luscious combination of raspberries and lemon. You can use either fresh or frozen raspberries for this recipe, I recommend using frozen ones for the nicecream and fresh ones for decoration. In this recipe I use more bananas because I usually have this as a full meal (either breakfast or lunch).

★  6 frozen bananas, chopped

★  100 g raspberries

★  the juice of 1/4 lemon, or 1/4 of a organic lemon with peel

Prepare the bananas the day before, or freeze them for at least 6 hours for optimal results. Combine the frozen bananas and other ingredients in a high speed blender or food processor and blend until they form a homogeneous cream.  Serve in a bowl or a jar. Enjoy immediately.

 

 


Nutella Nicecream

Everybody loves Nutella. So I promise you will love this recipe too. Nutella is mainly made of sugar, fat, cacao, hazelnuts. This recipe replaces the sugar with ripe frozen bananas and leaves out the fat because it is not needed for the creaminess. Which again, results in a super simple 3-ingredient recipe.

★  5-6 frozen bananas, chopped

★  2 Tbs low fat cacao powder

★  2 Tbs ground roasted hazelnuts

Prepare the bananas the day before, or freeze them for at least 6 hours for optimal results. Combine the frozen bananas, 1 Tbs cacao powder and the hazelnuts in a high speed blender or food processor and blend until they form a homogeneous cream.  Add the other Tbs of cacao and blend for another 10 seconds to create a swirly look. Serve in a bowl or a jar. Sprinkle some more ground hazelnuts or hazelnut butter on top. Enjoy                                                                                                          immediately.


 Carob Pear Nicecream

This is probably my all-time favourite. I love the moussy, chocolate-like taste of carob nicecream in combination with the distinctive flavour of sweet, hearty pears. Carob is actually a fruit that is almost fat-free – a perfect high carb replacement for cacao powder.

★  3 frozen bananas, chopped

★  2 Tbs Carob Powder

★  1 ripe pear

Prepare the bananas the day before, or freeze them for at least 6 hours for optimal results. Combine the frozen bananas, 1/2 pear and the carob powder in a high speed blender or food processor and blend until they form a homogenous cream. Use the other 1/2 pear for decoration. Serve in a bowl or a jar. Enjoy immediately.
